In 1872 – an 11 year old boy was drowned while fishing in a near by viaduct.
In 1881 – a 10 year old boy was killed when he was trying to board a freight train at Mount Clare Station. 
In 1883 – a person, dressed as a man was struck and killed by a train. The person was found to be a woman from Paris France. 
1891 – an accident between two trains claimed the lives of three crew members of one of the trains at Mount Clare. 

In 1896 – There was a march from Bolton Depot, to Camden Station and then Mount Clare Station. 

1901 Saw a crash between two freight trains full of box cars.
1907 – The engine ” Atlantic” was put on display at Mount Clare Station. 
By 1940, there was an article that train service to Mount Clare had ended but the train shops were very active.
