Baltimore & Ohio Railroad
Currently used as a museum
The first two photos are of the earlier station, that was torn down in the early 1940’s, to make way for the “newer” station, seen in the lower pictures. While no longer a train station, the building is in great condition and is used as a museum.
In 1968, the Silver Spring Station was robbed and the bandit arrested.
Picture of the “New” Depot , which opened in 1945.
