Glyndon Maryland Train Station
Baltimore County
Western Maryland Railroad
This “current” station replaced a older depot that burned down in 1903. I have a few images of that station to post soon. the current building is now occupied by the local post office. A little to the South of this Station was a small station known as St. George’s Station, which has been torn down. This would have been on the Southwest Corner of Bond Street and the Western Maryland Railroad tracks.
The older station was built around 1890, at the cost of 12,000.
In 1924, a man walking along the tracks who had a deafness issue was struck and killed by a WM train.
