Keymar Maryland Train Station
I don’t believe the station is standing today.
In 1912, Theodore Roosevelt passed through town on a special election train in a unsuccessful bid for President. Apparently a dog fight right in front of the platform where Roosevelt was going to speak delayed the speech.
In 1930, the safe was blown open in a robbery attempt. Problem was, the safe was empty.
1937 – Car struck by train near station resulting in the death of the driver of the car.
In 1995, there was a fire which I believe burned the old station down.
