Havre de Grace – Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Station
Harford County Maryland
Designed by Frank Furness
Built 1886 – Razed
Stop the the North was Aiken Station (Cecil County) and stop to the South was Swan Creek ( Harford County)
Located on the westside of Rt 40 near Oswego Street, for years I had no idea there was a B&O Station in Havre de Grace. In fact there was a third station right on the water we plan to add, but I digress…..Havre de Grace also had a Pennsylvania Railroad station to the East, as seen here.
We checked a road map for Havre de Grace from 1970, but there doesn’t seem to be a trace of train station along the B&O Tracks tracks then.
View from the site of the old Havre de race B&O Station – Looking Northeast. It’s hard to believe there was once a B&O Station at this location, which is now a residence area.
