The earlier station in Elkton on Railroad Avenue.
The current building was built in the 1930’s and is still standing. The older station was on Railroad Avenue, which appears to be a block away from where the current station is. The “current” station is used by Amtrack for storage.
There was also a B&O Freight Station in Elkton back in the day, still working on that one.
The Elkton Maryland train depot in 1978 when a commuter train called the Chesapeake began service to Elkton from Baltimore.
