We found this old postcard a few years ago. Haven’t seen one for Denton since.
In1898 – a nearby fire of a nearby store caused concerns for the railroad depot, but the station escaped any damage.
1899 – an article in the paper mentions ” Fifty-four-one hundredths of a mile from the Denton Post Office to the Depot” A bit odd but now you know.
