Washington Times – 1902

In 1900 – an unidentified man was struck and killed by a passing train along the B&O tracks in Berwyn.
In 1902 – Talk was about not only the B&O rail line, but a trolley line that went from Berwyn to Laurel Md.
In 1915, a ten year old boy was struck and killed by a train in Berwyn.
In 1931 ,a train engineer was killed in Berwyn, after he jumped from his Engine after being involved in an accident with a car.
In 1937, two man leaped from their car right before it was struck by a train in Berwyn.
In 1942, commuters in nearby Greenbelt were working to have a train stop at Berwyn for them to get to work.
In 1965, the Public Service Commision granted the railroad permission to close the Berwyn Train Station citing that the sttaion did not produce enough business for a full time employee. That same year , a man killed himself by running in front of a moving train in Berwyn.
