Kilduffs.Net is a smaller version of the Kilduffs.com page and should work better with cell phones and other devices. The Kilduffs.Net page is updated when new material comes in, which is just about every week. This page will consist of all the old Maryland train stations we can find. Using lists we have found, and old train schedules and books on the subject, we have complied quite a long list. The second part of the project is to locate where the old station was and try to ascertain exactly what kind of station it was, passenger, freight, combo of both, shed, shelter, etc. That part isn’t always so easy. Here’s our list of all the stations we have found so far.
Once all that research has been completed, we try to find out if the station is still standing and if it is, we send out our camera crew to get photos of the structure. This is the fun part, and we have gathered quite a pile of photos from all over the State of Maryland. While we have amassed quite a collection, we are still working to photograph others and research even more. Kilduffs.net is the “lite” version of our websites, so on this site, you’ll only find one photo for each of the train stations we decided to post here, but we are also working on a complete database of all the train stations in the State with as many pictures of each station we can find as well.
