Rockland Train Station – Baltimore County, Md.

Northern Central Railroad

Midway between the Hollins Station, where the split for the two different routes, and Brooklandville Station, was the Rockland Station. There is a footpath along the old train tracks, and I’m sure I’ve passed on foot the location of the old station.
In 1875, mentions of the Rockland station first start to appear, all so far in real estate ads and the short walk to the station . Ads mention ten miles from Baltimore and 1 1/2 miles east of Pikesville.
