North Avenue @ Howard Street
Oriole Pontiac opened in the 1930’s in the old United Auto Sales Building on the Northwest corner of North Avenue and Oak Street. Oak Street was the name of The first reference I have found of Oriole Pontiac so far is 1934 at this location but a ad from 1932 shows the address back then Charles Street and Oliver Street. I believe they lasted under the name until 1957, and in 1958 McSweeney Pontiac was listed as the dealer for that address for about a year.
