I know it’s not the best picture, but this was the Aaco Theatre back in 2003 when it was being used as a bank branch. Since then, the building has been torn down and the bank has rebuilt on the site. Our Kilduffs.Com page has much more.
1938 – A fire sparked in the projection room badly burned the New Theatre.
1948 – The theatre in Aberdeen was in the middle of a Blue Law Argument regarding theatres operating on Sundays.
1952 – After being rebuilt , part of the building was being used as a real estate office.
1969 – The theatre was showing ” The Trouble with Girls” Rated G
