Baltimore County, Maryland
Along the Western Maryland Railroad
An early depot in Northwestern Baltimore County.
I haven’t found too much regarding this station.
1881, real estate ad for the sale of “Milford”, a farm of 100 acres, near the station.
In 1884 , there was debate of how many trains would be going through the Depot.
A 1886 Real Estate ad makes reference to the station.
A schedule for the Western Maryland Railroad has Howardville between Pikesville and Mt Hope.
Real Estate ads over the 1880’s shows parcels of land being offered for sale, always mentioning the depot.
1890, one real estate ads shows land offered with a road that leads to the station and another road leading to Mt Hope Station , in an area known at the time as ” Loch Earn”
