Baltimore & Lehigh Station
The old Homeland Train Station is still standing and sits just off of Lake Avenue in Baltimore City, very very close to the County Line. The station is one of a few old stations that the Baltimore & Lehigh Railroad ( Later the Ma & Pa RR ) stopped at as the trains left Baltimore City on the way to York Pa. The station is not in Homeland as the name suggests, but is a few miles north of the Homeland neighborhood. The old station looks to be in excellent condition and being a residence now, we have been careful not to bother the residences of the old station and gotten our pictures off of Lake Avenue. The Station to the South was Notre Dame Station and the station to the North was Woodbrook, just a little over the line into Baltimore County.
