Elvation Train Station

Anne Arundel County, Maryland
W.B.& A. RR (Washington, Baltimore & Annapolis RR)
Baltimore & Annapolis Short Line Railroad
Between Pasadena Station & Marley Station

The Elvation Station was in the area of Elvation Rd and Jumpers Hole Road, an area that has seen much development over the years. The old W.B.&A tracks are long gone but a trail has been placed along much of where the old train tracks were. Many of the stations along the route were more like shelters, and the entire route was used as a commuter line between Baltimore and Annapolis. Another line went from Annapolis to Washington D.C. – Found a listing for the Elvaton Station in 1904 , as a “Post Village”, along the Baltimore & Annaplis Short Line Railroad.
In 1919 – a real estate ad mentions properties near the station.
We checked a map for Maryland Train Stations for the late 1950’s, and there is no mention of this station.
