southwest of Lonaconing incorporated;
C. & P. R.R.
1886 – A young man threw a large rock at the train while it was pulling into the station, causing injury to a passenger.
1900 – A schedule was found for the Cumberland & Pennsyvlavania Railroad.
Barton was noted as being 10 minutes from Lonaconing on the schedule.
