This is Govan’s Chevrolet back in 1926. The present day Maaco shop to the South of the building at 5602 York Road was an addition to this building. This old building is still standing and is being used, but as a retail space and not for vehicle sales or repairs.

In 1957, Govan’s Chevrolet became Jerry’s Chevrolet, which years later moved out to Joppa Road and Perring Parkway.
