Liberty Heights @ Garrison Blvd. – 1920’s to 1934
Below, an early image of Forest Park Motors.

Forest Park Motors was first found mentioned in my research in 1923, with small single and double line car ads. Nothing exciting and always with the address of the intersection of ” Liberty Heighst and Garrison ” and not with a street address. In 1925, the ads got bigger and in 1926,they were a Chevrolet Dealership. That lasted until 1930, when they were now a Ford Dealership. In 1933, one ad mentioned that they had been in business for 18 years. By 1935, I could find no mention of the dealership, and by 1936 Liberty Heights and Garrison was noted as the address of a used car dealer going by the name of Eskridge Motors. In 1941, Marshall Motors was now the dealer at the intersection of Liberty Heights and Garrison Avenue.
