500 Block of Hilton Parkway @ Edmondson Ave.
The first time I found mention of Archway Ford in Baltimore was in 1948, and that was for a new dealership in the 2500 block of Frederick Road at Catherine Street. ( Right where the current Westside Shopping Center is today. Soon after that, Archway Ford showed the address I remember them best for, 500 North Hilton Street at Edmondson Avenue. Archway Ford would continue to use this address for years, until about 1980, when they moved to 5720 Reisterstown Rd, taking over the old Action Ford that had been at that location.
Other addresses used by Archway Ford over the years that I found were : 2501 Frederick Road until 1959. Another address they used was 3810 Southwestern Blvd @ Wilkens Avenue, back in 1974. One other address I found was 7420 Reisterstown Rd, but I did not find it listed again and perhaps it was a typo. Since the 1990’s,I found no references to Archway Ford and the last location they used at 5720 Reisterstown Road and now used by Eastern Motors.
