4600 Block of Edmondson Avenue

The Earliest image I could find for the Anderson Motor Co., later to be known as A.D. Anderson Chevrolet was in this building dating back to 1923. This early Anderson Motor Company building was located at Edmondson Avenue at the intersection of Old Frederick Road. At the time, they were selling Chevrolets, as the image came from a Chevrolet ad.

Anderson Motor Company posted an ad in 1939 which listed “20 years of Customer Satisfaction”.

Anderson Motors was mentioned in 1940 located at 4620 Edmondson Avenue.
In 1950, We found an ad for A.D. Anderson Oldsmobile located at 25th Street and Kirk Avenue. A.D. Anderson was selling Chevrolets from 4600 Edmondson Avenue.

A.D.Anderson City Olds. had several addresses including 4636 Edmondson Avenue. There was also a A.D.Anderson Oldsmobile at the intersection of Howard Street and 25th Street. There was also a dealership for A.D.Anderson Chevrolet at 6005 Belair Road.
