B & O Railroad
I’m not finding a lot of the old Adamstown Depot, but here’s what I have so far. The train in town was commonly known as the ” Milk Train” as dairy farmers would ship out their products. Apparently the passenger train service stopped in the 1950’s.
in 1903 – The depot is made reference to for a auction in town. The sale is for Livestock.
In 1904 – The Henry Gannett List Adamstown as a Post Village along the B&O Railroad.
