Dundalk Avenue runs southeast out of Baltimore City and into Baltimore County. Along the route, you come across the Carlton Theatre, the Colgate Theatre, the Abbey Lane Theatre, the Strand on Shipping Place, the Watersedge Theatre and finally the Anthony Turner in Turner’s Station. None of these theaters show movies anymore, but the Carlton did continue to show movies into the 1980’s, although they were adult films. The old theatre has been a funeral home for the past several years.
